‘TECTONIC COLLISIONS NEAR LOCH GARVIE’ Western Highlands Scotland

As soon as the Covid-19 lockdown was relaxed in July 2020 we made a trip to the Western Highlands of Scotland to develop a long planned project. This particular region was the site of tumultuous upheavals and seismic movement millions of years ago resulting in landscapes rich in what could be described as geological collateral damage.

This series of Constructed Photographic Images draws inspiration from this fascinating part of the UK, particularly the tectonic collisions that have created multi-layered geo-landscapes that tell the story of how they came to be.
