‘TEA WITH CAKE AT ULLAPOOL’ Western Highlands Scotland

On the east shore of Loch Broom, Ullapool holds a unique position as the top geology location in Scotland and is where many pivotal discoveries in the field of plate tectonics were made during the Victorian Era. The rugged landscape in this region has some of the oldest rock formations in Europe and has provided inspiration for much of our work from this area, referencing the turbulent history of tectonic collisions.
